Looking for something to use with my iPod for under $30. I use my iPod daily and I'm pretty hard on heaphones/earbuds and usually go through a set every few months or so I don't want to spend too much. Think good quality disposables. What are my options? Thanks in advance.

it's not that I don't have the cash for better ones. I just don't want to drop to much on something I'll just destroy fairly quickly. If I wasn't so hard on these things it would be another story. Thanks for the replies so far, though.

I bought my dad a pair of them for Christmas and used them a bit myself to see how they sounded. Both my dad and I were not very impressed with them. They have to be in the ear very tight to get any sort of bass response and they are not comfortable. And, unlike most earbuds, you cannot lay down on the side of your head with the ear buds on.

They also seemed to be completely dominated by high frequencies - sometimes almost drowning out the midranges. They sound much better than any cheapo Sony earbuds I've used - but they sound horrible compared to a halfway-decent set of free-air headphones, imo.

"The Plug" by Koss are supposed to be around $15 and have heavy bass response. Pretty good deal if you ask me (though I'm looking for iPod headphones as well and think I'm going to go with the Sony MDR-EX71SL)
