Need a decent color inkjet printer

any recommendations. 200 is the MAX!!!!

i recall reading a few places that people have the best luck with cheap refill inks in Canons over anything else, if that helps any.

I am a hapy Canon Pixma ip5000 owner. Ink is cheap, it's quiet, and it prints sh't.

I bought the PIXMA iP3000 for a song after rebate. Liked it so much I sent one off to school with my son. Since then, I've purchased an ink refill kit from one outfit, and found ink tanks for $1.00! from another.

I've recently had trouble with color accuracy, which may be due to the generic ink. I've had clogged heads before and after the ink change. My son had trouble with streaking, and only several deep nozzel cleanings fixed it. He has only used the ink that came with the printer.

Another vote for Canon. Recently ran the OEM carts dry in my pixma 3000 and replaced them with ones from swift ink. Quality looks just as good to me.

Here's one more vote for canon. I like them especially since they don't use any type of chips in their cartridges to try and prevent refilling or generic cartridge manufacturing. This also makes their cartridges cheap, and there are tons of really cheap generic cartridges available.

I've got an HP photojet 7350 laying around not in use.

I like my Epson R200 much better

I have a canon S600 (old printer) but the ink is cheap (3rd party $18 CDN for Retail Black cart vs $5 CDN for a 3rd party cart)
