need a decent agp 4X card < 100 bucks

My dual XP 1800 system is getting long in the tooth, the main vid card of an ATI AIW 7500 is getting old. It is good for capturing tv, but I would like to play UT04 with better settings and no choppiness. I was thinking a AIW 9600 128mb 4x/8x would do me since they are around 100 bucks and I could keep basically my same capture interface and everything. My board (Tyan s2460) only has a 1x/2x/4x slot, so will a 4x/8x card work in it?

However, if you can find the 9800 Pro for under 100 it'd be a better deal.

I think he wants to keep the AIW part. That 9600 will be a big boost over the 7500.

All 8X agp cards are 4X compatible, so as long as your board has a 4X slot, you should be okay.

I think the 9600 is a bit slow for today though. I'd try to move up to a 9800pro AIW card.

EDIT: The card itself is powerful enough to handle Doom 3 and Half-Life 2, but with a 4x bus it may choke.
