Need a deal - Good place to install CAR ALARM

Hello, please don't lock this if I misused the Subject.

I am looking for a place to buy+install a Car Alarm, something under $300, possibly with a remote starter. I know Best Buy does this, but I hear a lot of bad things about HOW they do it. Can someone please recommend a large store this can be done at, or maybe a company that has presence in different states?

(I am in Rhode Island, that's RI =)

You should search for "I wanna" by the Anandtech Mod., thats the right way to do this. but this will be locked, I think. What state are you in anyway

There is actually ONE I WANNA thread where all requests should be posted, if you create new ones like this it confuses other people as to where to place their requests.

My suggestion to you is to avoid large stores. Places that hire high school kids to do a job that requires some skill, is not the place I want to take my car. Take it to a locally owned shop and ask them what sort of IASCA (International Auto Sound Competition Association) installs they have done, if any. If they have 2 or 3 then you know they are a very reputable shop and do quality work. If not and they have no clue what you're talking about you may also question their capabilities. Anyway, just find a local shop which carries good brands of car audio equipment (JL Audio, Boston Acoustics, Dynaudio, Diamond, Focal, PPI, Rockford, Alpine) to name a few, and go from there.
