Well, I had a bit of an embarrassing accident with my HTPC while adding a couple more drives to it. I had just finishing up adding them to the drive cage, plugged the SATA cables into the motherboard ports and was about to secure the drive cage to the case when it slipped out of my hands and dropped! Luckily, it didn't drop far enough to damage the drives. Unluckily, it did drop far enough to exceed the length of the SATA cables which then proceeded to rip two stacked SATA connectors from the motherboard.
The board is an ECS A855GM-A2 v1.1 and although the ECS website shows the board has 90 degree connectors, mine are vertical. Although I doubt it makes any difference which type I pick up.
I've tried searching, but I can't seem to find any company that sells SATA connectors. I have a cheap hot air rework station, so it should be a fairly simple repair.
Does anybody have any suggestions where to pick up a couple?
