Need a couple options for around $100 case

I just purchased a Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard, E4300 Core 2 Duo processor combo and am looking to get the Tuniq Tower 120 for my heatsink/fan and considering its size I could use some suggestions on a case and power supply thats not too fancy, no door in the front please. That can keep my system cool as I plan to overclock as much as I can. I also will have 2 500GB WD Hard drives in there with a Radeon 850XT video card.

This will be mainly used for a home theater PC. Thanks for the help in advance

Well, since you don't want a door you might want to look at the lan-li cases on neweggg. They are good quality and I don't think any of them have doors. I have an older pc-60 that is very cool but not exactly quiet. I think some of the newer versions have 120mm fans instead of 90. That might be the way to go. Also you mention a power supply in your text, with a system like that you wouldn't want a psu that is coupled with a case as they aren't usually all that powerful. I think the best option if you really want a case with one installed is the Antec Sonata II, though it has a small door covering the top three slots.

A check on google for highest rated cases between $75-100 showed this Antec case as well. Don't know anything about it but it seems ok for what your looking for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129018.

hey op, id invest in a good/excellent PSU, and a cheaper case.

PSU will be important in overclocking, so i would focus on that more and then re evaluate your budget on case accordingly. Im sure 95% of the members on this fourm will also agree with me on this statement.

Overclocking means you need a decient CPU + decient RAM + Decient board + decient PSU. It doesnt require a supercase, as long as your cable management is in check.

Look for a good psu, and then re evaluate your budget on the case. Try not to get scam'd by those 600W 49.99 Case + PSU deals.

Antec Solo is the perfect case for you. Cheap quiet and built like a tank with no doors.

I wouldn't mess around with aluminum. It's loud cause it has no mass for barrier loading. It resonates the most from vibrations. All looks no substance especially LL. Granted with about $100 in dynamat extreme you can make it like steel cases but that's $300 to get you where Solo is at for $80.

Great case same as Solo but white however that PSU in there is a POS. Not only is it loud they don't last. I burned one up in one night with a mere dual core 3800+ OC and 7800GTX OC. When I took it back to frys return guy had 7 boxes of them behind him he RMA'ed that day (same sale then too)- needless to say he commented on it and how shotty they are with this massive return rate.

I'd get something from Seasonic or Corsair for PSU.

Thanks all, I broke down and just got the Corsair 520W PSU and the Antec Nine Hundred case. A little over the $100 budget but oh well, you only live once right?
