Need a cooler for my Northwood, what to get?

I don't actually "need" a better set-up as my mobo is at 40c and my CPU is at 29c but since I have a window I would like something with more eye appeal. I have seen some fan units with a Virtual hideout grill on them like this and wondered what I need to do it. Besides the grill, is it just a plain old 80mm fan?

I know very little about fans besides case fans but have heard of volcano7 (?) fans. Are these nice units? There are some many out there it's hard to know what to look for. I'm not worried about noise at all.

thanks.

If you don't care if your computer is as loud as a small hairdryer, get the Volcano 7+ and crank that sucka up to High on the fan speed selector switch. You'd be surprised how well that thing works... After 3 months the noise was too loud for me though, and I switched to water cooling.

Alpha PAL8942 is a good one that takes 80mm fans. If you have an 80mm fan already, you can get the bare heatsink. Doesn't get much better than that without switching to watercooling.

you can use low speed setting on volcano 7+...i get 32idle with room temp at 27-28C...only 5 degrees above room temp...load around 47C...with high speed setting i get low 40s on load...prime95 etc...

but you want even better cooler...the alpha 8495 or the swiftech mxc-4000 and pair it up with an average fan would work just as good if not better...but they are pricier than the volcano...
