Need a cheap PCIe video card

I have a friend who did the retail edge thing, and he just bought a Athlon 64 3500, so he doesn't want this. I don't game a lot, and this motherboard it comes with (D915PBL) a PCI Express slot. So clearly I'll need a PCIe video card. Where can I find a cheap one? I'm already screwed into buying DDR2 memory, but I don't really see any problems with that.

A geForce 6200 is cheap ($105?), but "fast enough" to do gaming at 800x600 Medium Detail.

If you are not going to game much or any an ATI x300 or an PCX 5750 would be as cheap as I would go.

I was looking at those, or maybe a x600 pro so I can get the VIVO too.

If you're not doing much gaming and are looking for good image quality and good video playback, I'd recommend the Sapphire X300 that newegg has for around $80 or so. The game performance isn't blistering, but it is based on a 9600 non-Pro core so it has all of the DivX and WMV acceleration goodness of the late model Radeon series. Plus if you are going to use a large flat panel now or sometime in the near future the quality of the DVI output is a bit better on the ATi cards than the nVidia cards (the low end FX cards were espeically prone to getting sub-par TMDS added on to them by card manufacturers). Once the video processor drivers for the GeForce 6000 series are released, the 6200 may become the card to beat on the low end, but for now I kind of like the X300 (non-SE that is).

... the 6200s do have a working video processor.
