Need a cheap MP3 player

I have a Sansa e200 for years and it finally bit the dust; the left audio won't work. I'm thinking of just getting another Sansa, but the going price is $20 just for a broken unit on ebay. Are there any other places to buy this or do you have any other player suggestions? 2gb is the most I need.

And a side question: Is it possible for my player to break my earphones also? At the same time my player became defective, the left audio of my earphones became really low.

It's quite a bit smaller than the e200, but its newer and quite cheap. Also is touted as having some of the best sound quality out there.
 
I'll second the Sansa Clip, though you might was well get a Plus as they're about the same price. Cheap, reliable, small, simple, no frills. My clip survived the washer and dryer routine. Only problem I had was my library getting corrupted (I think this was back with XP), but a firmware update and changing the USB detection settings seemed to fix that.
 
The clip looks cool, but it doesn't have a wheel. I got confused by that since there's a ring that lights up. I think I'll pick up another e series.
 
The Fuze is nice. Same sound chip as the Clip so audio quality is solid. Better screen and the wheel has a better feel than the e series. It is getting a little long in tooth, but I would own one.

I came here to say this. I've had two clips, only because the first one got stolen. Apparently everybody wants one, heh.
