Need a Cheap daul external usb drive enclosure.

Want to put two of these drives in it for 3TB of storage. So, I guess I'd need an enclosure with a fan? What's a good reliable but inexpensive one to go with that works well and stays cool? This will be for backup and not looking for raid or redundancy.

Any good recommendations?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention.

this is going to be used for a Media player like a popcorn hour to stream movies. So if it had a way to power down the dives that might be a good feature?

I put media on it from my PC and hook it up to my PS3 to view, that is untill i hooked up my PC to my TV. It worked fine i know it says it only supports 1TB drives but i believe it will take bigger its just that 1 TB was the biggest out at the time it was released, i have 2 500GB drives in mine.

I've had my eye on the D-Link DNS series as a possible buy for similar purposes as you. Might be worth looking at if they seem interesting to you. I don't own one, just been eyeing them, as I said.

raid0 external drive? i wouldn't risk it due to dataloss, especially not with such a notorious drive.
