My friend who is like an older sister to me is spending Valentine's alone. I wanna cheer her up with something nice, preferably delivered to her house.

I don't wanna spend anything above 20'ish b/c i know she'd yell at me for it.

Any good sites with nice, cheap Valentine's gifts that can be delivered on Feb 14th?

Box of condoms and a quick "Howdy-Do" behind the Piggly Wiggly fits under that budget.

Seriously, pick up a cute card (not mushy, just something funny) at Halmark or Target (they have some good ones). Then maybe some candy and some flowers (pretty carnations) at your local super grocery store (krogers, giant eagle, whatever). You can get a nice bouquet with a vase for under 15 bucks. No roses. Too traditional and seems like you didn't put any thought into it.

If you don't like the flowers bit and want her to have a keepsake, go to target/walmart and pick out a simple gold chain or bracelet. Both can be had for under 10 bucks. Then Place it around the wrist/neck of a Stuffed Animal (bear, sheep, whatever). She will think its cute and you are still only out like 15 or so bucks.

Remember, its not the money but the symblance of thought put into it that really makes her smile. Make it light and don't put much of a fuss into it. Try to make it a surprise.
