I need a high end case for a gtx 1080ti and i7 7700k build. I would like suggestions for cases with good cable management options and that are somewhat compact. I would take any suggestions.

would help if u told us what board you had.

Is it ATX? mATX? iTX?

Are you going to install a AIO watercooler?
How big is the radiator? 120x1? 120x2? 120x3?

He better not be using mini-ITX with that setup. I've seen people build similar things in the Coolermaster Elite 100-series cases, but it's almost abusive to do that...

@jackstack10: If you have a uATX build, this one is interesting, unique, and has good airflow thanks to its separate components. It's kinda...ricer, though: https://www.amazon.com/Xpredator-Controller-Micro-ATX-Motherboard-Radiators/dp/B071P8YMJP

I personally prefer cleaner-looking things like this though https://www.amazon.com/Win-301-Tempered-Micro-ATX-Black/dp/B07229QBYM (warning, no 5.25" bay).

It's an ATX, dont have a watercooler but may upgrade in the future.

This one's pretty, then :) https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Tempered-Certified-Pre-installed-CA-1H8-00M1WN-00/dp/B06XFWBNNB

The Antec 900 is a classic of course: https://www.amazon.com/Antec-Hundred-Ultimate-Support-Regular/dp/B005ITOLHQ

And this one is completely stunning, though again no optical drive bay: https://www.amazon.com/anidees-AI-Crystal-W-Tempered-interior-Radiator/dp/B01LXP1YNW

Aerocool's DS-200 is much more understated, and has a lot of flexibility: https://www.amazon.com/AeroCool-DS-200-Window-Cases-Black/dp/B00S6DBGTC

You have more options with full ATX for cases than anything else, especially if you're going for liquid cooling. Don't skimp on the power supply, though!

Is this the recently banned (actually totally deleted) user 'Marcus Oakley' reincarnated?

Not sure because the term "the best" was not used, but everything else is very similar.

//Edit// It doesn't appear so because the exact thing is not posted to 20 different forums. My bad.

Is this directed at me? Because no

It was. There was a recent user who posted generic "I want the best" posts across at least 20 different forums. He got his account deleted at most of them, but he said he had a 7700k and 1080ti and needed "the best" RAM, sound card, headphones, monitor, audio, subs, cases, and countless other items. I checked, and your post here didn't show up on the other forums like his did, so my bad. Ambiguous posts with no details always has peaked my curiosity.

But you should delete your "Sent from Tapatalk" signature, it's not allowed here and is considered spam.

Nope, not me. Already got all my parts except for the case. It's ambiguous because I'm looking for suggestions and have no real knowledge of cases so I asked for help...

Gotcha.

I've always personally found the best way to find the 'just right' case is to read a few reviews, look at their pics of the review, and see all the pros and cons of the case and build concerns. Everyone has their own unique requirements when it comes to a case (price, performance, quietness, ease of filter access, no filters, radiator support and location, CPU cooler height clearance, GPU length, tooless, hard drive mounting, color, window, glass and acrylic, shape, etc). If you see one that will work for you, then you could ask for current owners opinions. Some sites with great case reviews I've used are:

http://www.techspot.com/reviews/cases/

No problem.

Cases are the hardest component to blindly recommend. Many of us pick a nice case that will last for several builds.

For example, the reasons I picked my Fractal Design R5:

-I gladly give up some cooling performance for quietness.

-I prefer larger mid-tower cases with plenty of room to build and for cable management.

-I wanted all my fan mount locations to accommodate 140mm fans.

-I don't like cases that look like they could appear in a 'Transformers' movie.

-I have had back surgery, so I needed the dust filters to be easily accessible and the bottom of the case filter to be pulled out from the front, and not out of the back under the PSU.

Hardware Canucks top cases of 2017 (not a bad overview, gives you an idea of useful features to consider).

Fractal Design is awesome. Arc Midi R2 gets my vote (it's what I'm using to house my main/best system); very well designed case, pleasure to build in/modify.

Ricer-Spicer-Slicer-Dicer. If it's SECC sheet-steel with plastic parts when people want all-metal aluminum, it is a case that could serve any rig with the mATX or uATX board-size standard.

I'm extremely interested in the Xpredator, as a matter of information promising some future choice.

Can one fit something like an NH-D15 in there? Or what about a ThermalRight Le Gran Macho? If I build a machine in that box, I'd like to know my limits for air-cooling. A water-cooled project would work with my own case mods or something as extreme as an external radiator, or a radiator integrated to the case by widening the footprint.

I'm really busy at the moment with two simultaneous health-crises in our house of three. Haven't been here for maybe a month or so when I'd been on Anand Forums almost every day or every other. So my hobby is going to a warm back burner. This time for unspecified duration is not favoring a water-cooled project and mods at my garage workbench. I won't elaborate on the self-performed "In-Home Voluntary Services" as they call the work-category in the health-services-network.

How is the behind the mobo tray cable routing on these? I find on a lot of cases the actual amount of space they give you back there is nearly unusable.

Is it feasible to go positive pressure on this case? I would think not with the gaping opening up top.

I'm really a fan of the Corsair Air 540. Great airflow, excellent cable management. Nice look. Both of my rigs utilize this case.
