Need a car recommendation based on pimpness

My brother is giving his son a car for his college graduation present. He was asking for suggestions as it is a suprise. Knowing something of my nephews tastes- fast living and women (or is it living and fast women? ), what would you suggest? Oh, budget is < 30k

A totally decked out late 1980s, early '90s Cougar should do it.

You can find a early 90's base model 911 carrera or a late 80's Turbo for about 30K. Can't get much more pimpness than a Porsche.

Hell, you can find a late model 944 Turbo S for about 15-20K.

What about an M3 in that price range? If you're looking for newer, you could get an Is300, they're pretty pimp IMO. Or if he's lookin for domestic, you could always go for a nice Trans Am, which is semi-pimp. Or you could go for the pimpiest car of them all: an 87 Cadillac Fleetwood []D [] []\\//[] []D -ed out (woodgrain, rims, cheetah skin seats....)

For under 30K for a nice sporty car, for a kid, I'd say get a 90-96 300 ZX Twin Turbo

good god that car is fly!

if you want new, how about a brand new Celica GT-S with a 6 speed.. girls seem to like those cars alot from what i have seen...

Also, maybe an RSX Type S

if you are an American car guy.. I really like my 2001 Neon R/T .. the 2002's are very spiffy looking with their new wings..

LOL, you are kidding right? I dirve a Neon and all, but wtf are you smoking?? the new R/Ts are over priced. A manual ACR is just as good without the crappy price, plus, he wants a car around $30k, if i had that budget, a Neon would be the last thing i thought of.

30k can get you:

Startus R/T loaded
Intrepid R/T
Trans Am
Z-28
Grand Am GTP

and you suggest a NEON?!

for any car for a student or basically anyone under 24 (good number) the car should not be able to go over 80 without shaking horribly, which only leaves cars from the mid 80's or earlier
