Just mildly Oc'ed my build. I'm running @3.3 11X1200. Mem at 1067. My volt are 1.3375 vcore...mem at 1.925(for no particular reason, seemed fine at 1.8. I wish nvmonitor temps were correct as that has my CPU at 36C. Coretemp has me at 42-44-44-38. On boot my CPU is 29-30C. My room is 71F, and the AC vent is right near the CPU, so when it's on, the system runs 3-5C cooler than without. I am reseating my cooler when I get my new case this week, as well as trying a Delta 150CFM on it, noise be damned lol. On load I am around 60C durng Prime.Ortho for an hour...quit when no change for 20 minutes....cooler with AC. My CPU is Very stable at this OC based on prime/Pi and others.
My questions...
1-Since I have the memory unlinked from the processor, why does changing the cpu settings change my ram ratio? Right now it's 9:16 533, but it wasn't that at stock, nor at the first OC I tried. Whay does this change ? Is it just cause the multiplier is higher and the ration is? That I can understand but why would the mhz o fthe ram change..I thought that was based on the actual Ram FSB I set in Bios?

2- I attempted Ocing higher yesterday..into the 3.4+ via either 12x or a higher FSB with 11X and so forth. I got one freeze up booting, 2 BSOD on other attempts and 1 freeze up running a Sandra. Now the highest I went with vcore was 1.4. I hope and assume this may be the problem. What do you think is the best strategy...and how high a jump on the vcore should I start with? I know the qx6700 is rated at 1.35v.

Thanks for any help.

I just did some playing...Am at 3401 11x1237. 1.35v..47-48-47-43. AC is not on and hasn't been for awhile. ..But the memory...I really can't get a good grip on it. lol..Right now 530.1mhz. I let the bios do the optimal which is 5-7-7-24..30 bankcycle 2T Up from 5-5-5-15 2T. 7-12 ratio. How do i get it 1-1? What do i tweak? I've been readin but am not sure...
Thanks
