it's doable, but may me more work than its worth. You will have to get some programming software (it was similar to qpst, but wasnt qpst, qxpt maybe?) and edit data settings to make it work with verizon (if you can even get them to add the ESN, I dont think they are allowing non-verizon phones yet). Another hurdle is getting the MSL (master subsity lock) code from Sprint (you wont, they wont provide it). I know for WM there is a program that can pull the MSL off of the phone, not sure if anything similar is related for BB. He also needs to remember that a blackberry plan IS REQUIRED for any Blackberry, so add another $30/month to the bill.
