I got her some in ear headphones (Sony Fontopias) for her last birthday; this year she got me a sound grenade to use on my roommate from ThinkGeek. I honestly can't think of what to get. Try and keep it under $40-50. She's already got an MP3 player and a digital camera, maybe I should just grab a 4 GB SD card for em. She sees them in retail stores for like $80, I can snag one online for $20-30 and act like it's the best gift in the world

For real though, get her a nice book, some CD's, gift certificate to her favorite store, and a lava lamp. Quantity wins out when it comes to gift giving, as you are increasing the chances that she will like at least one of the gifts.
