need a beige fan controller

I need a beige fan controller. It must be designed so that the fan cables go to the controller and then to the mobo, so the mobo can monitor the rpm's.

The Zalman ZM-MFC1 is the only controller I know of that allows mobo fan rpm monitoring, but it is black with bright blue led's (doesn't look righ with my beige case), and it only allows 2 of the fans to be monitored.

You can wire any fan controller for that - not difficult at all. You get a fan extension > pull the sensor contact from the female end of the extension > put the contact in a separate female shell > done. Hook the extra shell with the sensor (yellow wire) to the mobo and the female with the two power wires (red/black) to the controller. I can tell you now that you won't find a beige fan controller. Silver or black and a few with interchangeable faceplates also give you red, blue, etc. (you might find one of those with a white insert or you could spray paint one of the spares beige).

The Zalman Fan Mate 2 will do it, but you either have to leave them inside the case or run them through some kind of hole to the outside of the case.. not a very elegant solution. I may just get two of these and leave them inside the case.. set it and forget it.

Silverstone has one that mounts either in a floppy bay or on a slot cover plate - each one handles three fans. FP33. Easy to paint the floppy bracket beige if you want.

Yeah, found several like that, but they don't daisy chain back to the motherboard. I found an Evercool which had four controllers that allowed mobo monitoring, but it was not powered and had horrible reviews.

Like I said above, all you need to do is modify a cheap fan extension to do that. Pretty much an irrelevant point.
