well, i recently had a problem with an ebay member who bought my laptop on June 20th 2009, and filed a dispute 35 days later saying " He came back form an extended trip and the laptop does not work as i descibed on the ebay page. Paypal sided with him and told him to return the laptop in the condition it was in, well he did but i emailed him saying to send the laptop in my fedex box back, guess what he didnt as i recieved it today. The box feels flimsy like its going to rip and feels like he didnt even package the laptop good as i feel stuff sliding back and fourth. What should i do? tell him he just lost his money anhd im keeping the laptop?

wow, so many problems w/ paypal/ebay lately (including myself). this asshole wants to return a PS3 because it didn't come with a LAN cable (never was included in the ps3 i got). i have a feeling paypal will side with him and i will be out $500 and a ps3.
i think if it ever gets to the point where you're at, i'd close my checking acct that's linked to paypal and open up a new one.

holy sh1T a $50 refund for a LAN cable......holy sh1t!
well i got the laptop, took pictures and a video of me opening it. The laptop works fine and there is nothing wrong with it. I sent it to him with windows 7 rc1 activated and all drivers updated......what i got back in return is a laptop that looks like mine with a freshly installed windows 7 with NO drivers........i filed a case on ic3 or internet fraud and also told the guy he owes me a $140 fee for restocking.
How can it look like yours? Are the SN#s the same. If so; then they may have had problems and installed a fresh W7 on it. then when it would not work (no drivers) they said to hell with it.
If the SN# is different than what you sent; there is fraud and provide it to ebay.
