Need a 7 letter word that starts with the letter C, it can't use A,B,P,T,Z. No repeating letters either, can only use each letter once.

Some may wonder why I ask. I have 2 HD's, one with 4 partitions the other with 3. The unusable letters are obviously the reserved floppy letters, my Plextor CDRW, my Toshiba DVD and my Zip. So if someone can come up with a good word, you get to name my drives :) Otherwise, its C-I for me

aw christ, you're right...sounded cool...i wonder if since I don't have a 2nd floppy, i could disable it in the bios or in win 2000...i'll checkthat out later...my more pressing need is trying to figure out why my computer doesn't want to boot off the floppy. It has no problem copying data from it, but any disk I put in, it won't boot of it...I need Fdisk dammit.and I have to install 98se

is your CD-ROM bootable? Boot off that Win98SE CD and you're golden (just choose "Start computer without CD-ROM support" from the boot menu and you'll get a DOS prompt. Fdisk should be on the CD).

Also, if you've got Win2k installed, why do you need fdisk? Just go to Administrative Tools, then to the disk manager, and partition and format there. I hardly ever use fdisk anymore.

cuz i'm installing 98se, plus it's just bothering me that it's not working at all...It won't boot off a boot floppy or a zip thats bootable, but it will boot off the XP boot CD. So I installed that on one of hte partitions...
