I just picked up the OfficeMax special on the Soyo 24" LCD monitor for just under $300, this is my first LCD. I am wondering if I made the right choice. Newegg has the SCEPTRE Black/Silver 23" 16:9 8ms LCD HDTV w/ ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuner Inside Model X23GV-Komodo for $359.

So for roughly $90 more, I can have a HDTV w/ a ATSC tuner and use as my monitor as well, yes? Also, how does the hdtvs work with computers. Only one resolution? Or does it scale all up to native res.? I don't know how that works. For example, my son has Star Wars Lego game which is 800x600, would this work on the Sceptre? He also has a game that requires changing resolution to 256, it's an older math game, would that also work on the HDTV? The spec for the HDTV is recommended 1360 x 768. These may seem like simple questions but I've never hooked up a LCD HDTV to a computer so I have no clue.
