Hi
I currently building 2 towers pc and need some racks for them so I can swap drives easy as needed.
I was using 8 Kingwin trays as they suited my need to hot swap my 2.5 and 3.5 hard drives but they barley worked the first time I installed them and now rebuilding my systems the badly designed sata connectors wont work for most of my racks.

So what are good alternative racks I can use and dont want to spend more than 20-25 a unit.
Posting now for comments and feedback TIA!1

I use Vantec EZ-Swap4 racks in my tower - 3 of them. I swap SATA drives every week, Never a problem.

The kingwin & syba are from the same OEM.
I really dislike plastic ejection mechanisms, while they are OK for lite use, they are a huge failure point if you constantly use it.
Sad that I can't find any units made these days where they use metal parts. 🙁

Right now I waiting until I have time to see which of the 8 of these units I can save in my 2 towers by getting therm to work when I have the time

And any needed replacements I will get this new dual sata HD to see if they will make a good replacement. I asked these worked with both 2.5 and 3.5 drives at their facebook site and was told yes so hopefully these will be my needed replacements.....
