Hi,
I need to get a ~10 line phone system (where all 10 lines can be seen on 1 phone with transfer buttons for each line) for the office. We're currently using
Polycom SoundPoint IP 330 http://www.polycom.com/products-services/voice/desktop-solutions/soundpont-ip-series.html
It's a 2 line system but we need more. I'm assuming we need VOIP. Here's some of the other stuff we need (which we currently have, but need on the new system as well). I don't know what these features are called, just functionality that my boss requested:
-Either a) plays a recording when someone calls while it's ringing on our end or b) plays a recording while it's on hold/after X rings
-Can transfer a call after X time to another number, including external numbers, like a cell phone
-Has a module where he and maybe 1-2 other people can see all 10 lines, what's on hold, etc.
Also, will an expansion module like this (http://www.polycom.com/products-ser...s/soundpoint-ip-backlit-expansion-module.html) add extra lines to a 2-4 line system?
I'm 100% new to VOIP/office phone systems and while I'm sure it's not complicated, I don't really know what good brands are or what I need/don't need.
No budget in particular, just something good without extraneous bells and whistles.
