Need 2 more sata ports for server

I need 2 more sata ports on my present motherboard for my server. I have USB 3.0 and PCIe 3.0 x 16 available. My power supply has extra connectors for hard drive so maybe I don't need external power supply if I use USB adapters? What would be best? Any links?

Just get a 2-port or a 4-port SATA6G card. They have them at Newegg.com for $20-50. Best bet is a Marvell (older), or ASMedia (better) chipset. Look up the brand "Syba".

Thanks. I'm having trouble finding PCIe x16 cards. Everything looks like PCIe x1 or mini PCIe

you can use a x1 card in a x16 slot.
