I have an OEM 2.8E Prescott 1MB Cache 800 FSB Socket 478 and bought a Vantec CopperX Heatsink+Fan from Fry's
Here
Anyway I was wondering what the temperature that the P4 runs at should be. What temperature does the retail Intel heatsink and fan make 2.8E run at? the When it is idle and in use. I Have an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe with the Asus Probe utility says the CPU runs idle at 52 degrees Celsius and like 59-60 degrees Celcius when in use (like playing a game). I was wondering if I should get a new heatsink and fan. And some suggestions on which one to get would be nice as long is the heatsink is light and won't bend the motherboard, is quiet, and doesn't cost too much (not wanting to spend over $30). Even if it does cost over $30 gimme the model maybe I'll find it on eBay or something. I am not looking to overclock btw.
Thanks,
