need 1tb drive recomendations

looking for quick and dirty recomendation of current 1tb (or upcoming) drives

currently running a couple samsung F1 750s pretty happy with those

want reliablility, and low noise, as long as performance is on par with my f1 drives I'd be OK with that

notced Newegg isn't listing the 1tb f1s anymore, i tihnk they were around 110 but the 750 is 99 currently

price range preferred not to exceed 150

the WD RE3 is running over 200 seems a bit excessive, any thoguhts on what drive has the best mix of cheap, quiet and reliable would be appreciated

look here western digital currently is the fastest 7200 RPM drives right now as the benchmarks in that link show.

thats pretty much what I expected, from my own research, but I believe the WD drives RE3 and black are more noisey, I'd like a quiet drive, but since noise is so subjective it might not be noticable, seems like the F1 samsungs are still a good mix of performance price and noise, I might end up with WD black though

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my veliciraptor is if the new WD 1tb are similar in noise to the veliciraptot I wouldnt care to have a couple of those I tihnk the black edition is running about 150, so not a huge preimum over the old F1s
