You can share your Cable/DSL connection with these things, while you can connect some computers together with this... anyway, nevermind.

a switch is smarter than a hub. a hub broadcasts data to every port while a switch only sends data to the port its specified for.

I don't think they're refurbished unless it specifically says so on the page. The "refurbished=" in the link is probably a parameter that *could* take a value like "true". As I recall, what's in the link is just something like this: "refurbished=&blah=1583&blah2=" So it's probably not refurbished.

I think every item comes up "refurbished=" at the end when you look at the link. This thing is new I believe... If not... for $20 bucks shipped, I don't care...
