I was never big into playing the table top GW games - did own Warhammer 40k when I was younger and really like the universe, that this game is built around / within.

I've played and enjoyed DOW 1 and 2 and am looking forward to the expansion.

One thing that i remember thinking years ago (when I was around my cousins house who had the game) was the potential Necromunda has for begin a PC game. Set in a dark, evil, slightly twisted world your gang is fighting for survival against many others. Like the table top game your gang would evolve from mission to mission, gaining skills, experience, weapons and equipment... keeping members alive so they can advance would be imperative.

Gameplay could be similar to Fallout i.e. Turn based, RPG... using an action point based system for each gang member.

One example i can think of is the UFO series of games, most of which I've played... but they never seemed to 'grab' me and I didn't feel immersed in the game world as much as I think a game built around the Necromunda / Warhammer 40k one would be.

Anyone know if such a game is in the works?

Ahh kool... Personally i've just always thought it'd make a really kool game. Could have an awesome single player campaign where your fighting for control of the Undercity or w/e. Or a 'Tournament Version' where gangs just go in for prize money... somehtign like this could work for online/ LAN play aswell - if as long as turn times were kept down to a minimum... or it could even be real tiem liek Dawn of War... mayb a player has a limited number of pauses to issue extra orders... meh i dunno its late.. Basically some1 should make a game in thsi world! lol

Played Blood Bowl recently, ended up totally frustrated by it lol! Most players seemed totally inept at making even the most simple passes or even just picking the ball up :/

Have you read the rules for the board game? Living Rulebook 5.0: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA.../m1310002_BB_Complete_Blood_Bowl_Rulebook.pdf The in game tutorial isn't very good. It may tell you how to move, but it doesn't tell you how to play. You really need to know the odds before you make your moves, because failed actions usually end your turn. So actions need to usually be ordered from no risk to high risk moves. Picking up the ball for several teams is a medium to high risk activity. Have a reroll available in case your first roll fails.

Here's a basic idea on your first turn. Stand up and move your free players first. Have a second player guard the ball. Next take 2d blocks with players who have block. Those are things I almost always do before I even touch the ball.

The game has a bit of a learning curve early on. Just jumping in may make it seem harder than it really is. It's a good tactical game, and worth the effort to learn how to play.

Here's a good guide to read for blocking.
