Hello To Everyone:
I recently bought a NEC Versa SXi laptop, It came equipped with a PIII / 650mhz processer, 384mgb of RAM(pc133), CD/DVD-ROM, 3.5 Floppy(both are "Hot-Swappable"), 3com-Megahertz 3CXM356 PCMCIA Modem(had to hunt down the drivers and they work), 14.1 in.TFT/LCD(?) Monitor screen, It has "ATI RAGE MOBILITY-M1 AGP"for graphics, a 12gb (4200 RPM)HDD, Infrared(?) and has Windows 2000 Pro for an OS and It came with a case, AC cable(2), a 400 watt continuse, 800watt Peak Power Inverter(NEW,In the Unopen Box), the problem I'm having is in the upgrading the graphics to something better / newer(it's a chip) without replacing the MB and NEC say's there's no replacments for this laptop and that I'm stuck with the graphics it came with, does anybody know of a way to upgrade (ie:replace MB, install a new chip or ?) the graphics, I use mainly to play DVD's, Games and most of my games require 32mgb of video RAM or better and all it has is 8mgb of video RAM, It was a good deal(or so I thought) at $550.00 on E-bay , can anybody "HELP" ?
Thank You
Randy Garner
