Nec superscript 660+ install problem

I am trying to install into XP pro. When I install the printer it says to install any software , which is the NEC printer software, but when I try to install the software it gives an error that its not compatible( not recognised environment) and shuts down. So there is no way to install the NEC software on this xp system. If I try to install the printer without the software it will not install. I have tried the NEC site which does not even mention XP. Any ideas? Thank you
 
Good luck with this one. I can't even get NT 4.0 drivers that work with the old NEC Superscripts! :|
 
yep, there are no drivers for NT, 2000 or XP. The best I could find was a driver site where some were using the driver for the Minolta 1100L pageworks pro at the suggestion of NEC. I tried it and not working. NEC must be one screwed up company to be telling people to use Minolta drivers for their printers. Thank you
