NEC oem burners from newegg

Ordered a oem NEC DVD burner from newegg and it came with just the drive in shipping box. Is this normal? Figured it would be double boxed at least. Also there are scratches on the bottom of the drive. Not sure if it is used or not.

yeah i ordered the same thing and it came in bubblewrap in the shipping box. mine wasnt scratched, but it burns great

Yes, it is OEM.

That's how OEM drives come (wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a plain box with peanuts.

i :heart: oem. it keeps you from piling boxes over boxes and it is also a little bit cheaper.

Well I've never boughta OEM burner before just used mostly. Ain't no big deal I was just making sure I wasning getting a refurb or something.

Same here. They tell you that it's OEM. Regardless, it was SUPER cheap and works like a dream so nothing to worry about.
