I have a nec nr-7700a cdrw drive. Somehow when i installed adaptec easy cd creator 4, it is telling me that no recording device is presented. In my windows, i could use it as a cdrom, but i just can't get any software to recognize it as a cdr. I tried cdrwin too, it's showing the same kind of msg.
Can anyone tell me if there is anyway to test if this drive is defected? or if i just need to get a driver for it. Thanks.
