NEC ND-3540A drive having problems

I have a NEC ND-3540A DVD RW drive and its having problems auto loading CDs and DVDs. Every time I insert a CD/DVD I have to manually do the auto load. Another problem I am having with it is that it can't read DVD movies. When I insert a DVD movie, its reading the Video_TS of the disc instead of the movie. (It skips around a lot and I can't choose the chapter). Is there any way to fix this?

Any suggestion or help are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

For your drive not autoloading CDs, check if your autoloading function's been disabled.
Go to run, then type "gpedit.msc" (without quotes). You'll see two sections, one is computer configuration, second user configuration. Go to computer configuration, then Administrative Templates, then System. Once you clicked on the System, look at the right window panel and find Turn Off Autoplay. See if it's enabled or disabled. In your case it should be DISABLED.

Hope it helps.
