NEC ND-3500A vs ND-3520A?

Finally having a good reason to buy a DVD burner (TiVoToGo being that reason), I looked up the recent DVD burner roundup on Anandtech, and found the NEC ND-3500A got the gold.

I see that there is a ND-3520A now, however, and was wondering if anyone has experience with it who can tell me the differences.

I also hear there are some issues with the ND-3500A. Does the 3520 address those problems?

Good DVD editing/burning software recommendations are also greatly appreciated!

search in the Software forum on "DVD" will turn up many software threads, Advanced Search > Archived threads will turn up even more (many on copying movies, but also many on making DVDs of home movies).

Be sure to pay the $2-10 to get a drive with bundled software, unless you already have a full (non-OEM) copy of Nero.
