Nec ND-3500 Booktype setting?

I purchased Nec ND-3500 drive, the only problem it is OEM version and have no software comming with it, so which software i need to use to utilize booktype feature as i read in anandtech review?

nero cd dvd speed 3.5 has it, but I've never tried it and I don't know much about how it remembers the setting and whatnot

you may or may not have to do a firmware upgrade to get this feature

DarkTXKnight - as basic an explanation as I can give you, booktype setting lets you burn DVD+/-R disks as a "DVD-ROM" booktype, which is read by all DVD drives, whereas not all can read DVD-R format or DVD+R format (if you don't change the booktype of the disk you are burning)

NEC only supports bitsetting if you flash it with "hacked" (non-official) firmware.

It can do for dual layer DVD+R's, you need to hack if you want this for notmal single layer DVD+R's.
