NEC MultiSync FE700...

Anyone else have this monitor?

I want to run my computer at 1280x1024 resolution (because that's what I am used to at work)... however when I select this resolution, my FE700 will only run at 65Hz, which makes the video shakes quite badly... Is there any way I can make it run at a higher frequency? I have tried downloading the latest driver on NEC's website, but it has no effects...

BTW, I am using a GeForce 2 GTS video card... which supports up to 1600x1200 resolution (don't know if this matters)...

Thanks!

My friend bought one, against my recommendation. I was hoping he'd pick up the FE750, which can go higher than 65 Hz @ 1280, but I think that you're out of luck with the FE700.

The FE700 is a 70Khz horizontal scan frequency monitor optimized for 1024 x 768 at 85Hz. You will need a monitor with a 95Khz horizontal scan frequency to achieve 85Hz at 1280 x 1024.

Good Luck
