The NEC is my first jump into LCDs and I got it early this month.

I've got at least one dark pixel (by the clock) and a few stuck pixels when looking at an all black screen that i can't notice unless it's all black. However, when using UDPixel and showing all black, there is some serious light bleeding issues. On the left hand corner id' say about a 3x4" triangle, on the right hand corner it's about 10(along the bottom)x7 and on the top left there is more of a rectangle, about 6x2 that bleeds through. i do kind of notice the left and the right bottom corners in normal apps.

Is this type of thing normal or should I be thinking about RMA? Overall the monitor is pretty nice, though it collects dust/dirt which drives me crazy thinking there are dead pixels all over the place.

Thanks for the input

I'd RMA it. Doesn't sound normal for a 20WMGX2. Mine shipped with no dead pixels and is extremely uniform.

You should only return a defective 20WMGX2 to NEC. They will ship you a replacement (possibly refurb) directly.

Mine has a few subpixels dead and a brown spots that indicate backlight bleeding. Stupid best buy and not having the reciept. It's been to NEC a few times due to dvi port problems. It also shows lines in divx/windows media videos. It doesn't show it on the CRT so now I probably need a new video card. NEC has been great at support but I still seem to get problems. I wish I could get a working monitor the first time and not 3 or 4 times for a good one. Too bad I got a lemon :(.
