Had my NEC Multisync 20WGX2 for about 2 weeks now,beautiful picture and really happy with my present to myself 
My PC is in my living room and I just leave it on when I relax on the sofa so it goes to screensaver and then switches off the video output.
I've been hearing a totally irritating regular whiney whistle from the direction of the computer desk and after using air duster on fans,tightening all screws etc I was going to start replacing my fans.
Finally realised it was the monitor making the noise BUT only after the screensaver goes off!!
Should I be concerned about this? Has any other owners noticed it? How to fix it? Or just stop being lazy and turn the monitor off when I leave it?
