Nec MS75 question?

I have a nec multisync 75 (ms75) and i was wondering if anybody else has it and would tell me if my monitor is defective. It turns on fine and the picture is great, but when i turn it on or change any display settings(ie. resolutoin, refresh rate) it's really loud. It is
especially loud when i turn it on. I want to know if someone else has it and if it does the same thing??
