NEC FP950 has streaks on screen now

I usually have my refresh at 85 Htz, and I'm getting streaks going to the right (around 1 1/2 inches) from small print on the screen.

(IE: this forum page produces a hashed line starting from the 'Joined Date' under the Members name)

I found that reducing my refresh to 75htz almost eliminates this artifact. Going above 85htz makes it worse.

So,,, is my monitor failing? (Only 2 years old - refurb)

Any suggestions?

Is it always the same area of the screen? It could also be the video card.

No, the streaks follow the print on the screen.
(When scolling or paging up or down)
And ,,, Now some dark background colors make the screen flicker too.

It's very annoying. It seems to come and go. But, more frequently now.

I even sent a screen capture to my other computer, But its ok. So I know its the monitor.

Have you tried plugging the monitor into a filtered power source? (UPS for example)
