NEC FE700 anyone own one ?

Just curious about how good it is. I can get it at Staples for $260, free shipping plus Tax
Is it a good monitor compared to a Viewsonic or Sony of similar price ?

Well, I got one of these for a friend I was building a new system for. They take a bit of time to warmup, and like all flatscreens, it seems to be impossible to get the geometry 100% perfect. But a good monitor, and nice image quality - however, if you have the money, I REALLY like my LG Flatron 795ft - it has NO grille wires whatsoever, and is pin sharp all the way to 1280*960 - good for a 17" tube....but it's expensive (paid £240 for it - bout $350 i think).
