NEC EA244WMI 1920x1200 -- Is it E-IPS?

I was planning to get one of these eventually to replace my Asus PA248Q which I sold when I moved. The main reason I like it is because it has a semi-gloss antiglare coating. The Asus antiglare isn't as bad as Dell but still annoying for detailed photo editing.

But then I read a couple reviews that suggest that it's "probably E-IPS"

I can't find anything definitive. NEC simply calls it "IPS" and there are a bunch of threads on the internet where people say it's probably E-IPS with no supporting information whatsoever.

Does anybody know if this monitor is real 8 bit IPS or E-IPS?

I did a request for information from NEC and the business development specialist checked with the desktop manager who said: “It is the latest IPS version which is AH-IPS and provides better power efficiency and improved screen performance compared to previous generations of IPS.”
