How good is the monitor for gaming? Is it better than the fe991sb, or the Viewsonic G90fB?

Where did you find 1 at? I have had 1 for about 2 years now and it runs circles around my sony 1000 buck monitor. It was pretty much the most sought after monitor here back when there were decent crt's. If a crt is what u want i do not think you will find better than a 930.

Well, maybe i can find one on ebay sometime soon, if they are that good. Finding a good crt is ridiculously hard.

This is not the best monitor ever, but it is the best 19".

I have one for my son. I think it's the absolute most perfect 19" CRT there is. If I could somehow get my hands on another one, it'd my on my daughter's machine (whose 19" CRT is getting very old and ugly).

As others have said this is probably the best 19" CRT out there, but they are very hard to find, as they were discontinued long before NEC/Mitsu's other CRTs (sometime in 2003). Your best bet is probably a used one off ebay, as refurbs can be quite unreliable.
