Find your best deal on the FE950........

Onvia has it for $409.00

NEC has a $50.00 rebate + you get a USB monitor base also..... $359.00

It's a pretty good 19" flatscreen, uses a AG tube....

Nice deal for so-so monitor...

...
Resolutions Supported:
...
1280 x 1024 @ 55 to 89 Hz
1600 x 1200 @ 55 to 76 Hz
1792 x 1344 @ 55 to 68 Hz

You won't run it on more than 1280*1024 without hurting your eyes.

Now, IF the had such rebate for F_P_950...

This is a great monitor.
Bought mine at the beginning of this month. Had to exchange one due to fuzzy text.
Guess that's normal with all monitors due to rough handling during transportation.
Otherwise it really rocks. Totally flat AG, tons of adjustments incl. moire, looks (like the Multisyns sign in front), etc...

text is fuzzy, but I tried several brands of flat monitors. when you set it to higher than 1280*960 85hz, no matter what brand, you will get fuzzy texts.

At 1280 x 1024 text is razor sharp. I wouldn't know how I could use a higher res as already at 1280 x 1024 the text is very small. Why killing yourself? If you want more than that, you gotta go for a bigger screen.

Email me....I'd like to ask you about the fuzzy text....I've got a 950 right now

I agree with you about the resolution personally I run it at 1152x864....

76hz at 16x12 is good enough IMHO.... I'd only be using that for games....

jaydee I am using my 17in. Sony at 1024x768x32 at 85hz and can see the scan lines when I switch the monitor to 75hz. It is also easier on the eyes at 85hz if I have to use my computer for extended periods of time.

$416 - $50 (Amzn Promo) - $50 MIR = $316 plus a free USB hub from NEC.

anyway the free shipping ends tonight at MIDNIGHT so if you are thinking about it you better act soon.
