NEC 90GX2

Looks like a sweet deal. That does include a $30 rebate but but comes with free shipping. Am I missing something or is this a really good deal. The reviews seem to be extremely positive and I have yet to find someone who didn't like it. I love my Hitachi cm721f but it's time to move up!

That is a very good deal. I think TigerDirect was selling the refurb versions for that price and the new ones were about $339 last time I looked (not that long ago).

That is an awesome price if it is indeed brand new and not refurbished. Don't think about it, just get one. :)

It looks like a bunch of resellers, including Newegg, are also selling this for just over $220. I think NEC is trying to clear out the stock since they're going to release an updated version soon (90GX2 Pro), although this is still among the best 19" LCDs available.

Finally bought it this week but from Newegg. After rebate it is only $209. I got it in and set it up last night. I was blown away with how bright it was. I mean I had to seriously reduce brightness and contrast or I felt like me retinas would burn. The colors are simply amazing on this thing...very crisp and clear. I am very happy with the purchase.

Well it ain't no 1990FX or 1990sxi but it's not $500-$700 either and it's pretty decent for a TN due to opticlear and LG's TN inside... better than all those PVA's IMO from a gamers and viewing angle prospective.

Yeah, it's actually pretty good for a TN. The viewing angles and backlight uniformity are better than most other TNs. For general usage, I would actually take it over a lot of PVAs and IPSs just because of the coating.

Yes, Opticlear turns ordinary TNs into amazingly incredible displays :)
