NEC 3540 - First Look

(obviously) its more of a product update i guess. phasing out the older models as time goes on.

by the way, what are the changes on paper from this new product to the 3520? i skimmed the article but did not see a statement clarifying it.

i think it has some faster speed than the 3520A. as far as most people are concerned the only thing important are the DVD+-R speeds (which are unchanged) anyway. therefore... a $15 increase from the 3520A to burn some $10 a pop DL disc faster does not sound that good of a deal at all. maybe $5 more... but $15? forget it.
