NEC 3520a

could someone help me? I just bought a new black OEM 3520a but i can't seem to burn with it.
the only media i have is dvd-r 2X (must 001). nero just keeps spitting it back out.
the shipped with firmware is 1.04.

Try different media. I have that model and it has worked with several media types.

yeah, the Teon dvd-r work fine.
thats sucks..i wanted to utilize the cheap media.
