Hey everyone, a neighbor is selling a NEC Multisync 17 inch monitor, she's going to e-mail me the model later. It looks like this LCD NEC

She's selling it for 50? Good Deal? 1280 x1024 resolution, what I usually play at. Is it alright for games? i will post model later. thanks in advance
 

Very good deal. You can routinely find them in the FS/FT forum for around $ 100, but not too much cheaper with shipping. 19" LCD's go for $150-$200 new and $125- $140 used.

If you don't want it, or want to spend a bit more and get a 19" that may be the way to go. In fact, if it works fine, I'll buy it from you (the 17") if you want to go that route.....Shoot me a pm
 
I ended up buying a brand new 20" 4:3 LCD when I was looking for a used 15" 4:3 as a secondary. I thought I could snag one for $50-75, but most people seemed to be asking like $100+ shipped. Usually like $125. I bought the 20" for less then $200, and it has DVI, more screen size and a much better refresh rate then any of the 15" panels. I really don't need anything this big for my secondary application though.

I think thats a good deal on the 17" though. NEC is usually a more expensive brand I think too.
 
I sold my Sharp 17" LCD locally for $60 cash, & i had like 10 people wanting it in a day, so i'd say $50 is a good deal 🙂
