Basically my boy got a Dell workstation with 2-3 gigs of ram, winxp, dvd-rom and NEC 1100A Dvd+-r.
The problem is that he never used it before since he;s hadthe thing for 10 days and last night he popped in a cdr, opened up roxio and attemped to burn at 16x. BAM, freezes 75% through and creates an error saying buffer underrun. Tried at 4x. Same thing. Tryed cdrw, same thing. Tryed using Winmedia player as well as xp''s build it and same thing. I checked Roxio and he has burnproof checked plus i watched his task manager and nothing else was running at the same time as burning.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but no go. Whats going on here?
