While I'm glad we were able to end our contentious thread on a positive note, I must say I'm surprised at the tone you both took here. FYI, name-calling may be fine for both of you as a first resort, but it isn't by me. You should have both considered that before you used it as "banter." I attempted, several times, to let both of you off and was met with one patronizing response after another, which wasn't mentioned in the nasty-gram that was sent to mod. As someone mentioned, you should never start an argument unless you want to argue and shoudln't expect it to end simply because you say "calm down." One last thing, I'm what this forum calls a "Diamond member" at INA, the official UT2003/4 forum. The mods there decided that long-time or otherwise prolific posters had a tendency to grow arrogant and expect newer posters to allow themselves to talked down to, like a hazing ritual. They decided to remove posting stats from individual posts.
So far, and to my surprise, it made things better.
I'm NOT trying to ignite another argument here. I just wanted the mods to hear my side of it.
