Neat, Providian cardholders get free access to their FICO scores.

I've had my PayPal credit card(through Providian) for a few months now, and just realized this.

My current score is ... 656!!

OMGW0W!! 😛

This concludes our friendly public service announcement from Eli and the Hippy avatar.

ya its been available for me for at least a year now..its a little slow to update but a nice reminder nonetheless

and my scores 782...had false bills in my name go into collections...use to be higher...bastards

It's pretty cool. Mines gone from 698 to 723 since july of last year. I think it'll go down though pretty soon. I went above the credit limit of one of my cards and it was reported to Experian 🙁

thats also correct..other companies do this as well..what the OP and I have are not those cc's

I don't know how Providian got my mailing address, but they have been sending me 2 offers a week for their CC

Yep, although my scores are from Transunion.

Mine was 674 in October....it is currently 674 🙂

Lots of changes though, it was lower the whole time....since then I've gotten another credit card, possibly canceled one in there, and gotten credit from Dell. Oh, and took out a holiday loan, which will be paid off in month. I want to see what the loan does for my credit.

Should be interesting, I'll be getting another free credit report on July 1 (spacing my 3 free ones out) and will get the score again then. Should have balances lower by then too.

They have been pretty good to me so far, they gave me the highest limit out of any of my cards, and the Visa auto rental insurance came in real handy for me.
